  I am incredibly impressed with the services coordinated by Sam James when my father was terminal and died a year ago. As understandable, it was a stressful time for me with my father's health deteriorating, but also it was occurring at a time when other demands were peaking. I reached out for advice and assistance in making plans for Dad's impending death a month before he died, and I'm sure I did not present with the decorum and demeanor of grief that is typical in our culture. Sam accepted me for who I was without any sense of judgment. I felt safe to speak freely even when what I had to say or how I said it did not follow the expected script for a grieving daughter. His guidance, ethic, and sincere caring contributed greatly to getting me through the logistics of Dad's final days and the funeral.
  
  Just as important as his effectively coordinating and directing the actual funeral plan was his insight into my grief process. Sam's honoring that grief is highly individualized greatly and positively impacted my adjustment to Dad's death over the following year.
  
  While I can hope I won't need Sam's services anytime in the near future, I do feel safer knowing who I will lean on when I or my loved ones face the next inevitable death. I wholeheartedly endorse Sam James as the Funeral Director of choice.

  My family has known Sam James for over 10 years. He is one of those few men that one can take at his word and trust his handshake as sincere. He is a gifted man in many spheres of life, however, he is particularly in his element when serving families in the hour of death. I believe his primary goal as a funeral director is to provide excellent care to families in the difficult moments of life. Sam and I have served together in many funerals. I have been with him when meeting with families for funeral preparations. He is professional, caring, gracious and provides excellent service. He is well-experienced in all aspects of funeral service. Sam is a man committed to the community of Huntersville and to those who engage his services.

  Sam James handled the arrangements for my husband’s funeral and burial in WV in January 2010. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, and caring in all aspects of his service. He made a very stressful time much easier. I highly recommend Sam’s services for he will not leave a stone unturned.   Sam coordinated the funeral effort when my dear mother died several years ago. He showed genuine compassion for us and it seemed he knew my mother even though he did not. He has been available for me since with other concerns and I consider him my friend.   Sam has coordinated the funerals for several of my family members over the past few years. He is gentle and kind, organized and gracious, attentive to detail, and gifted at his job. He genuinely cares for those who grieve and strives to ensure that every detail for each funeral and service is taken care of. Sam James has been such a blessing to my family throughout his career. He sincerely cares about people and this shines through in his work. He leaves not stone unturned in making things easier for those who are grieving, helping every step of the way.
